The updated 2.0-liter, inline 4-cylinder powering the new 2019 BMW 330i unit boasts numerous detail upgrades and delivers 255 hp between 5,000 and 6,500 rpm.
The optimization of the BMW TwinPower Turbo system - comprising of a twin-scroll turbocharger, VALVETRONIC fully variable valve timing, High Precision Injection direct petrol injection, and Double-VANOS variable camshaft timing, results in a 7 hp increase in output and an extra 37 lb-ft of torque compared with the predecessor engine.
BEYOND MEASURE.
The length of the 2019 BMW 3 Series has increased by 3 inches now measuring 185 inches long. At 72 inches wide and 57 inches tall, the additional cabin space on the 2019 3 Series is noticeable. The increase provides added shoulder room for the front of the cabin and improves the legroom for rear cabin passengers.
