BMW M GmbH is growing its high-performance model line-up to include models in the mid-size Sports Activity Vehicle and Sports Activity Coupe segments. The BMW X3 M and BMW X4 M set the standard for dynamic excellence, precision and agility in their respective classes.
The BMW X3 M and BMW X4 M also launch alongside their Competition siblings. The BMW X3 M Competition and BMW X4 M Competition will capture customers' imagination with their extra power and exclusive appointments.
M-specific design elements optimise the aerodynamics as well as the supply of cooling air for the BMW X3 M, BMW X4 M and Competition models. The interior features Vernasca leather upholstery, electrically adjustable sports seats, M-specific cockpit, M gearshift selector lever and M leather steering wheel.
The BMW X3 M Competition and BMW X4 M Competition bring additional exclusive accents to the exterior in the form of exterior mirror caps and M gills, High-gloss Black for the BMW kidney grille surround and the rear spoiler of the Sports Activity Coupe.
Their standard equipment also includes an M Sport exhaust system and 21-inch M light-alloy wheels in polished Black.
The expressive aura of the interior is enhanced by model-specific door sill plates, M Sport seats with extended Merino leather upholstery and a model nameplate on the centre console. Competition model options include unique bi-colour leather upholstery variants with Alcantara applications.
Similar to M xDrive modes and damper control systems, the engine and transmission characteristics and steering set-up can be adapted at the touch of a button. The Dynamic Stability Control system allows controlled wheel slip in M Dynamic Mode. The content viewed in the optional Head-Up Display can also be selected through the iDrive menu. The driver may store two overall set-up options in the iDrive menu and select them as required using the two M buttons conveniently located on the steering wheel.
The all-new BMW X3 M, BMW X4 M and Competition models are fitted with the hi-fi speaker system, LED headlights and the ConnectedDrive navigation package which includes the Navigation system Professional. The BMW X3 and X4 options list expands customization options and includes the digital services from BMW Connected and BMW ConnectedDrive and cutting-edge driver assistance systems.
