The 2020 BMW X5: An Even More Exciting Sports Activity Vehicle

The 2020 BMW X5 is a smart Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV). This year, it even gets a new M variant: the 2020 BMW X5 M50i. This model joins the X5 xDrive40i, which is already a force in its own right.
The handsome X5 stands out, especially in its new M50i trim. Rocker panels and rear bumpers are sculpted for a more sporty effect. The SAV offers blue-painted callipers and 20-inch M Star-spoke bi-colour alloy wheels. The front bumpers have large openings to channel air and cool the engine.
Soaring with the 2020 BMW X5
Tackling the road with 332 lb-ft of torque, the BMW X5 xDrive40i is an edition geared for races. Twin-turbo V6 engines put out 340 horsepower. Even better, the new M Performance variant has model-specific tuning for its N63 4.4L TwinPower V8. This enables it to generate 523 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque.
If you think the SAV is ready for the track, you might be right. It can jump from zero to highway speeds in 4.1 seconds. Driving enthusiasts will want to take note of this ride’s Launch Control function, which provides traction for faster starts right off the mark. An M Sport rear differential adds to both handling and safety. An Adaptive M Suspension cements the racecar vibe by lowering the ride height in the Sport mode.
These engines are paired with xDrive intelligent all-wheel drive, which guarantees that every X5 can handle snowy and icy weather conditions. The rear-axle bias gives the X5 a European flair when roads are clear and conditions are good for rounding curves. An eight-speed sport automatic transmission is standard.
2020 BMW X5 Cabin Luxuries
The interior of the X5 echoes the classic exterior, mixing iconic BMW styling with contemporary flair. Vernasca leather covers the seats and steering wheel with an extra-soft touch. Contrast stitching adds some spice, while an available Anthracite headliner increases softness. Illuminated sill plates and other ambient lighting makes the cabin feel welcoming even when dark.
The X5 M50i has multi-contour sport seats and BMW’s Live Cockpit Professional system. A Harman Kardon audio system surrounds you while you drive. To keep you connected, a Wi-Fi hotspot and wireless charger establish this ride’s ultra-modern credentials.
